Brittany Snow: 'I Look Like A Hooker'

Brittany Snow has been singing the praises of some hookers she met after studying them for movie research, and even claims that some of them looked like her!

The Hairspray star plays prostitutes in new films Finding Amanda and Black Water Transit and her research left her convinced that most hookers are sweethearts.

She says: "I learned a lot about where they were from and their mindset and how they went about getting to that profession.

"I don't agree with it but I think, after talking with these girls, there's definitely a connection that I have to these girls and what they're all about.

"That stigma that people have is really interesting. There's definitely a notion that the girls come from broken families and they're all messed up and on drugs and crazy.

"That was not the case at all for the girls that I talked to, thankfully. I felt like I was talking to a friend of mine. They were very articulate; they went to high school. Some of them went to college and have kids.

"Some of them looked exactly like me."

Combining natural sounds, man-made instruments, and overtone singing, the group's concerts, in churches and standardised acoustically intentional spaces, experience been described as "technoparty or privy religious ritual." Formed in 1995, Stimmhorn represents the combined vision of multi-instrumentalist and singer Christian Zehnder, world Health Organization combines Mongolian partial singing and yodeling, and brass and woodwinds player Balthaser Streiff. A professional musician since 1985, Zehnder (born in 1961) studied music with Raymond Laback and Japanese philosophy with Tokne Nomaka. Alphorn, Buechel, trumpet, and cognate role player, Streiff (born in 1963) is a graduate of the jazz school in Luzern. In addition to playacting with Stimmhorn, he continues to teach trumpet and Alphorn.

Miley Cyrus - Whos That Girl More Saucy Cyrus Snaps Online

Teen sensation MILEY CYRUS has been caught up in a fresh photo scandal after saucy shots of a girl, who resembles her, stripping have appeared online.

The snaps are similar to those which appeared on website MySpace.com last month (Apr08), and come just weeks after the 15 year old was forced to defend her decision to pose topless in a bedsheet for a Vanity Fair shoot.

In the new pictures, a girl bearing an uncanny likeness to Cyrus holds a t-shirt up with her teeth, showing a bare stomach and red panties.

According to blog Oceanup.com the snapshots were emailed to pop star Nick Jonas when the pair dated last year (07).

If the shots prove to be genuine, the pictures will further compromise her image as a child-friendly star, and pile pressure on her employers at Disney to address her penchant for posing provocatively.

Although Cyrus apologised for the Vanity Fair photoshoot, she refused to accept she shouldn't pose in private snaps.

After the last set of pictures appeared on MySpace, she said, "For me, I was like, `It's not a big deal.' But they got spread around. Like someone copied and pasted and said, 'Oh my God, look at this, and blah blah blah.'"

Protesters attack MTV office in Mumbai, India

MUMBAI, India —

Police arrested 70 Sikh protesters after the MTV music channel's office in western India was vandalized over posters showing a Sikh girl massaging a man, officials said Tuesday.

On Monday, protesters smashed windows with rocks, tore banners and damaged furniture in the MTV office in Mumbai, India's financial and entertainment capital, police inspector Raju More said.

The protesters said the posters, which promoted the reality show "On the Job2," offended Sikhs, More said. Sikhs comprise more than 2 percent of India's 1.1 billion people.

Police later released the protesters on bail, he said.

Satish Maneshinde, MTV's attorney in Mumbai, called it an unfortunate incident. He said no one was injured in the attack.

Maneshinde said MTV would consider the protesters' demands to remove the posters.

Jennifer Aniston - Mayer Meets Anistons Friend Cox

Sex Pistols - Rotten Slams Humourless Coldplay

THE SEX PISTOLS frontman JOHNNY ROTTEN has slammed COLDPLAY for creating boring music - insisting he feels sorry for fans who pay to see the "humourless" group perform live.

Rocker Rotten, real name John Lydon, is convinced the Yellow hitmakers take themselves too seriously - and is adamant their music suffers as a result.

He says, "I pity the poor b*****s who have to watch them. They are utterly humourless.

"I met them a few years ago, said hello and realised they were just men in anoraks. They looked like a gang of little poncy masturbators.

"There is no fun, they don't offer joy. Their music has a couple of quite nice tones here and there but it's a box of tosh (rubbish) sold to slightly inadequate, half-baked people."

Juanes, Hammersmith Apollo, London

Juanes is a global celebrity unknown to most British audiences. You won't hear him on mainstream radio because he only sings in Spanish, and you won't hear him on specialist world music shows because he is too commercial. I doubt that he is bothered. After all, he has sold well over 10m albums worldwide, has had massive hits in Europe as well as in the American Latin market, and has already won 12 Grammies. He is a hero in his homeland, Colombia, and every Latin rock fan in town seemed to have turned out for this packed, entertaining show.

In some ways Juanes is the Latin American answer to both Springsteen and Bono. As well as a proven ability to write catchy rock anthems, he is a high-profile campaigner on issues such as landmines. Now in his mid-30s, he came on stage dressed in black, looking as if he spends considerable time at the gym, and crashed into a series of gutsy, full-tilt ballads, from No Creo En El Jamas to Clase De Amor, that were both epic and melodic, if never wildly original. He may write great lyrics, but there is no translation on his album sleeves, and none was provided here, for he only spoke one sentence in English ("thank you for being here"). Not that his fans complained. They cheered the sing-along ballads, and kept cheering when he switched to rock-reggae on Bandera de Manos or added some non-remarkable guitar solos to the relentless attack of a six-piece band that sounded far more western than Latin. There were occasional reminders of his roots, as with the Colombian-influenced rhythm and melody of his massive hit, the slinky La Camisa Negra, or the final burst of rock-salsa, but for much of the time, this was a classy mainstream rock show in Spanish.
