The Pigeon Detectives Open Leeds Festival 2008

The Pigeon Detectives helped the 2008 edition of the Leeds Festival get underway early last night (August 21st).


The band played a raucous set on a stage hosted by their phonograph record label Dance to the Radio, which also featured a performance from Grammatics.

High Priest, Beans, and M. Sayyid gained a important following touring with the likes of Radiohead and DJ Shadow before they ended up leaving their part slipway in 2002. 'Another Way to Die' is start duet in Bond history




Alicia Keys and the White Stripes' Jack White will record the theme song dynasty to "Quantum of Solace," the 22nd James Bond film, which hits U.S. theaters Nov. 7.

The song, "Another Way to Die," will be the first duet in Bond soundtrack history. White wrote and produced the song, and also will play drums. The soundtrack to the movie testament be released Oct. 28.
